Positions:
There are 12 board positions. All positions are appointed by board vote after nomination from our membership. All board members must occupy one of the Director position listed below.

1. Position: President
Length of Service: Appointment by the Executive Board of Directors. A sitting President can be re-appointed.
Description: Oversees daily operations of the club. Ensures the enforcement of policy procedures set by the NUSC Board of Directors. Is the major contact point for players and parents.
2. Position: Executive Vice President
Length of Service: Appointment by the Executive Board of Directors. A sitting EVP can be re-appointed.
Description: Works with the club staff on day to day operation of the club and serves in the President's absence.
3. Position: Secretary
Description: Handles League correspondence. Records and posts the minutes of club meetings. Keeps official books and records of the League.
4. Position: Treasurer
Description: Handles the League finances. Pays bills, submits an annual budget for the League. Ensures that the proper tax items are filed with the appropriate agencies.
5. Position: League Representative to TASL/VSLI
Description: Represents the Club at meetings of affiliated leagues/organizations (currently HRCL and VYSA). Reports activities and decisions of these groups to the Board
6. Position: Director of Operations
Description: Coordinates Advertising, registration, financial managment, investment, development.
7. Position: Tournament Director
Description: Oversees and coordinates the tournament hosted by the Norfolk United Soccer Club.
8. Fundraising Director:
Description: Communicates with local businesses to raise awareness and financial support for Norfolk Soccer
9. Position: Field Director
Description: Coordinates volunteers to line fields and set up and take down goals and equipment during the season
10. Position: Director of Volunteers
Description: Coordinates our Adminstrative, Concessions, Clinic support, Camp Support, Score Keepers, Field Marshalls
11. Schools Programs Director
Description: Coordinates our school coordinator program to assist with school team formation, information assistance, and registration.
12. Position: Age Group Commissioner
Description: Organizes and Assists Age Group Coordinators who are the point of contact for coaches, parents and players within a given age group. Brings issues to the attention of the Board of Directors. Identifies players in a given age group who should be encouraged to advance to the next level of play. Assists coaches, schedules, training and other aspects of that age group.
