| ADMINISTRATION
The Norfolk United Soccer Club is a Nonprofit 501(3)(c)corporation that is run by volunteers for the benefit of the children and families of the Norfolk and tidewater area. We recieve no city funding and are an entirely self sufficient entity.
Officers and Board of Directors
The governing body is the Officers and Board of Directors, who are nominated from a general meeting of the club. The League officers are President, Executive Vice President, Vice President for Travel, Vice President for Advanced and Recreation, League Representative, Secretary, Treasurer, and Tournament Director.
Volunteers
Additional volunteers are appointed by the Board of Directors to help run the activities of the club. These positions include Field Manager, City Liaison, Age Group Commissioner (for each age group), Fund Raising Coordinator, Referee Assignor, among others.
Norfolk United complies with federal and state regulation governing the protection of children and employs the Kidsafe program to ensure that our volunteers are screened prior to being allowed access to our players.
KidSafe is a program to screen anyone who volunteers to help with youth sports, and the Norfolk United Soccer Club in particular. Names of volunteers are compared to lists of known felony offenders. Any offenders who are identified are banned from NUSC activities.

Head and Assistant Coaches for each team, all of whom are volunteers, are an integral part of the League.
We compete all across the Hampton Roads Soccer and Tidewater soccer community. Clubs we compete with in the surrounding area include BeachFC Soccer, Neighborhood Youth Soccer League (NYSL VA), Chesapeake United Soccer Club (CUSC), Churchland Soccer League (CSL), Portsmouth Soccer Club (PSC), VA Rush soccer (Rush), Virginia Legacy Soccer Club, Western Branch soccer clubs and all other clubs in TASL, VYSA, AYSO etc. We play at area fields including Lake Taylor Highschool, Hampton Roads Sports complex, Pricess Anne Soccer complex, and TCC.
Come Travel and Play with us all over Hampton Roads and Tidewater Soccer communities.
